Most of the time my fps is just fine on high settings. 45-60 depending on the traffic around me.

About one in five log ins, though, I will be stuck at 9 or 14 fps and it doesn’t fix itself until I re log (sometimes it takes multiple tries). Once I do get the fps back up to normal I have no issues.

I was wondering if there was anything I could do about this because it’s annoying having to restart the game sometimes 5+ times just to get my fps to not be unbearable.

Sounds like the PCI-E x1/x4 powersaving bug.

I suggest downloading GPU-Z and taking a screenshot like this

I’m betting when your FPS is low its because your Bus Interface is sticking in the powersaving PCI-E x1/x4 mode when it should go x16.

If it does show x1/x4, reseat your GPU and make sure its seated firmly.

Looks fine to me. This is not a constant problem. It fixes itself if I relog a few times and it actually took me a few tries this morning to get the log in with low fps. I also do not have this issue with other games.

I’ve noticed awful frame rates today, and throughout the day.

I’ve tested all I can, and the only difference in my computer is that I increased the memory to 32GiB.

Here is a capture of the game and gpu-z, cpu-z and performance monitor, as well as onscreen fps and utilizations.

Nothing is capped, but the FPS are still extremely low.

I too have had similar “fps stuck issues” lately. I had to restart the pc to fix them each time.
I have an Nvidia gpu properly configured.

I just downloaded the beta 64bit client, and there I have no issue.
The 32bit client still is stuck to very low FPS though, regardless of how many times I reboot my computer. Is that then the answer ???

Same issues here. I’ve tried everything to troubleshoot to no avail. It started the day the last patch dropped.

I have the same issue. I start the map with like 45 fps and with a simple Alt+tab i can restored my fps to 90+ (depends on people).

Never had this issue before the SAB festival patch.

I have this issue with 64 client or 32, it’s the same.

Nvidia GPU me too.

Have you updated your chip set drivers. The chip set helps the cpu communicate with your peripherals .Usually you can down load those from your Mother board or lap top vendor.

Don’t know if it is relevant here, but NVidia has again released very very bad drivers :

I’ve lost count of the unstable Nvidia driver releases since Win10 came out.

Now that all this stuff is getting automatically installed for most users on win10, you’d think they would do a little more QA.

Last time i had an NVidia card was when Age of Conan was released, i had so many
bluescreens at that time, and had to go back from 173.xx to 164.xx driver ..
and years before when Diablo 2 was in beta i already had massive problems with
NVidia drivers unter NT4 and switched to 3Dfx at that time ^^

So NVidia has a looooong history with bad drivers and thats why i stick to
ATI / AMD GPUs since years.

It has been happening since Update (3/8/16) and still no fix
