Hi, i bought this game afew days ago and since then ive been ahving FPS issues ingame, i get from aroun 10-15 regardless of what settings im on. I change them and it doesnt make a difference to FPS. I dont understand the problem, i can run skyrim on high settings with good fps. My pc specs are:

Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 880G
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz
Xenta 700W 12cm Fan PSU
Seagate 500GB 3.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Barracuda Hard Drive 7200RPM 16MB Cache
Kingston 8GB (2×4GB) DDR3 1333MHz
ATI radeon HD 5670

My pc is a couple of years old but im sure it should be able to run this game with decent fps, anyone else had problems or can help me with mine?

And I have tried all the troubleshooting tips in the locked thread above this one and still no luck

what amd driver are you on currently

An AMD 5670 card is mid-range for 2009 technology (packaged for early 2010 release), and you’re trying to run at HD resolution of 1920×1080. Otherwise you have plenty of memory and your CPU is fine.

But before grabbing a new video card, make sure you troubleshoot performance….

1.) Have you tried the new 12.11 package for AMD drivers? And have you tried the older 12.8 package for AMD drivers? Newer drivers doesn’t always mean better performance for older generation AMD cards.

2.) Have you installed the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard from ASUS’s website? BIOS update from the same place?

3.) After trying all of the above, if you’re still getting poor performance, try running at a lower resolution and see what the framerate difference is. It’s probably going to look ugly, but if it’s faster then you’re hitting a performance wall somewhere on your PC.
