Guild Wars 2

When I download the game, it opens the launcher to engage in the longest part of the loading, but when it reaches about 17%, it stops loading, has the “Fatal Disk Error (31)” popup, and when I click okay, it force quits.

I’ve deleted all the GW2 files and re-downloaded everything about five times now, and it doesn’t help.

Paid $50 for this game, so I’d really like it to actually function!

Kenshisha, post back how you go please. If still having issues, please post your complete system specs (including what kind of Mac and OS version).

I completed all of the steps in comment two. My mac is running OS X Version 10.8.5. Still giving the same Fatal Disk Error 31 when attempting to start the game at all. I hadn’t played in months so when starting the game, knew I would need to update before even logging in. It tries to update for about 20 seconds then the update fails.
