Below I will post the error that it comes up with in Windows 8. Before that I will describe what I have been experiencing.

Last weekend I found that I had a couple of viruses that I could not get rid of. I decided since I was going to have to reload my operating system that I would load Windows 8. Since I have loaded Windows 8 I have experienced crashes mainly in 1 area. That area is WvWvW. I have crashed in WvWvW several times during the last week. I have only crashed one other time outside of WvWvW and that was in a 5 man AC exp run. My guild mates believe it is likely due to my internet connection. Just to put it out there, my internet connection is a ground based satellite. That provider, and I hope that it doesn’t violate the rules of posting, is http://www.skybeam.com/site-tx/our-technology.html. I realize this fact is not really relevant to my case but I fell it is necessary to say that this is the best I can get in the rural area that I live in. I am seriously considering camping out a weekend at work where I have access to a T1 line to prove or disprove this theory. So here I sit on a Saturday evening at after 9pm central asking for help so that it does not come to the point that I have to camp out at work for the weekend. Also, my pervious operating system was Windows 7 which I had NO problem with what so ever.

The first question that I anticipate is, have you updated all of your drivers. My answer to this is a resounding YES, even tried the beta drivers.

I have had this same problem since the game launch. I will be playing the game and all of a sudden it crashes and I have to log in again. Any idea why this is happening? My most recent log entry is below with parts removed to fit in under 5001 characters:

It just happened to me again. This time I wasn’t even in a group or even in a moderately populated area.

i cant even log into the sever, i dont understand because it was just working last night for me

Reseat your memory and then set it to the right timings in your BIOS. Make sure your direct x9 is updated.

Upgrade to a 64-bits Windows version, it solved the same problem here

I set my memory timings back to 9 from 7 and that did not help.
I ran MemTest86 and there were no errors.

What ultimately fixed it for me was turning Anti-Aliasing from FXAA to None. Try that
