Ive tried to get the game to be playable now since release, but no go… It crashes after just a few minutes of gaming.

I have:

Windows 7 64 bit
ASUS M4A89GTD Mb
XFX radeon 6870 1GB
8 GB corsair RAM
550W powersupply corsair
AMD Phenom II X4 980 CPU

Have tried:

Driver for Graphics: 12.1, 12.4, 12.6, 12.8
Been doing driver sweeper between all changes og driver.

Reinstalled the game

Updated sound drivers

Tried the lowest graphics in game (makes no difference freom higher)
Updated chipset for BIOS

Tried formatting C: drive and installed both win 8 and win 7 64 bit

The temp of the CPU is around 50c and the Graphic card around 60 c

After crash I have to restart the computer to be able to start the game again.

Attatching crash log as PDF here: http://speedy.sh/2tnSa/Crash-log-GW2.pdf

Thanks!

Hi Picturalis – Do you happen to be over-clocking your system at all?

Since I have the same issue, I’ll go ahead and reply. Yes, my system is overclocked, and yes, I tried running it without the overclock, with the same results.

I have been having the same issues since launch. Some days it’s fine (I’ll only crash 3 times per day, which I can handle). But today I have been crashing every 20 mins again. My system is not overclocked and I have tried everything from reimaging my computer, reinstalling new drivers and even resorted to dowloading a program to underclock my rig with no prevail.

These are my system specs. What is a save underclock to run Guild Wars? I droped the clocking on my GPU by 100 mhz to see if that would help and I haven’t noticed a difference. Is there a safe or recommended mhz to underclock to that helps with this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any help anyone can help with on this issue.

I fixed this by *under*clocking my CPU when I play GW2, maybe you can try that?
