Straight to it.

I’m trying to copy my GW2 stuff to a USB drive as I want a new PC to copy it to. However, when I try to copy gw2.dat (26.2 GB) it’s says the file is too big for the file system on the drive (USB 2.0).

I was trying to avoid a hefty download on the new rig.

What should I do?

Ta folks.

Get yourself a portable hard drive if your system has USB3 get one that is USB3 I don’t trust large files like that on fash drives I had a flash drive go bad trying to load a 20G file on a 32G flash drive. plus the transfer rate is a lot faster with a portable
hard drive then must fash drives.

Opinions are like ______ everyone has one I could
put the correct term in but not everyone has kittens

had this issue when i copied the data file over to my new harddrive , the data file is 25 plus GB in size ,,, you need at least a 32gb Flash USB drive to transfer this file. what I did was use an external harddrive instead. and what onevstheworld said is a good solution. its a matter because fat32 is what XP days or windows 98 Days file formats.
