As per the title my launcher is stuck on 1 file remaining i have restarted and rebooted with the same result anyone have a fix?

Yes, identical here. rMBP, OSX 10.9. Also september patch was running fine last night. This final file of this hotfix patch wont download.

Also sucks, because it broke just before I would have been able to join in for Season 3 reset night :/

Sup guys, I just tried using a VPN to connect called ‘spotflux’. Either by coincidence or otherwise it downloaded the last file fine that time.. Good luck to you all.

I did not have any issues downloading the files the game booted up fine. This might work. Right click on your GW2 exe select properties and add this line next to it -repair. It should look like this: Gw2.exe" -repair Just a warning this will take some time to do, it repairs any broken or corrupt files of GW2.

I’m having the same issue, it stops at 26 mb :-/, I have tried to reboot the pc, disabling firewall, antivirus, and still not downloading the final archive :-/

I could solve this issue by erasing all files in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2.

Anyways, a friend is having the same issue but that didnt solve his problem. If anybody have any idea of this, please tell us.

EDIT: You can try this many times, until its works. That’s what my friend did.

I resolved this by doing a complete fresh install took a long time but it worked.

Exactly the same for me.. gets stuck on 26mb and goes to 0kb/s..
tried -repair, no luck so far.. it got stuck twice so far..

I have this same problem. Repair didn’t work… Please help! :/

Same here but ‘spotflux’ fixed it. just install the try version and uninstall right after it works

I was having this exact problem, and after doing this solution a couple of times as suggested by Sias, it eventually worked.

Sadly the same here…

Deleted the user app data, did a -repair… none of that working
Changed LAN settings, turn off others programs with overlays, etc…

While the laucher keeps stuck in 0% CoherentUI_Host.exe*32 (two instances of this) shows in the processes.

Bin folder in the game folder have

Locales (folder… empty)
ffmpegsumo.dll
d3dcompiler_43.dll
libGLESv2.dll
libEGL.dll
icudt.dll
CoherentUI.dll
CoherentUI_Host.exe

Gonna still trying to lauch the client several times hoping it catch the files and update correctly

Use a VPN, it is the best way to do it.

I had the same issue with my laucher till yesterday.
What i did to fix the laucher issue was the following: I changed the language of my client from english to german (took hours) then changed it back to english and NOW my launcher is working perfectly
Try doing the same, you can also try changing to french. Good luck!

-If your laucher is in english do not change it to spanish, the laucher won´t download the last file. Try with german or french, then switch back to the original language.
-If your client is in german or french change it to spanish or english then switch back to the original language.
