If I were to contact support about getting a gem refund for the Spectre finisher would it be possible for them to do it?

I bought it yesterday without knowing exactly what it would look like(no preview in the gem store) and I was wondering if support could either refund the gems or take away the spectre finisher and let me pay the difference between the two to get the vigil mega laser one( I looked this one up on youtube this time).

Just wondering if I should try or not, thanks.

CS doesn’t usually do refunds for those kind of things.

I agree with IC here. The shop indeed doesn’t have a preview function. So you decided to buy it blind. This is something you do in my opinion on your own risk.

So I’m afraid the answer will be no, but you can always try.
As for taking away one finished, replacing it with another one and taking away an x amount of gems to pay the difference…No, that is something support definitly can’t do.

That is not the function of this forum.
If you want an answer from support you should post a support ticket. This forum is fordiscussing support among players, reporting unhandled tickets and asking for an arenanet official to review a decission taken by support.

This is not the place to ask for a formal response to a individual case (unless you first tried doing that through a support ticket).

To file a support ticket go to ‘support’ on the top of this page and ‘ask a question’

All they will do is tell you to file a ticket with support.

Don’t expect to make a thread like this in a forum and expect a definitive answer from ANet in the thread. That’s not how they do things.
