I upgraded my video card from a Radeon HD 7750 to a Geforce GTX 660 ti.
After the upgrade Guild Wars 2 will often freeze on start up. It will go to a blank screen and then nothing will happen.
My specs are attached.
Try updating your graphics driver:

And selecting CLEAN INSTALL when you are asked during the installation program.
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
its also happening to me, ive tried the above and its still crashing/Not responding
Never mind, I fixed it through a simple restart.. so if it is still broken for you and haven’t tried already I would

Did you uninstall the AMD Radeon software before you installed the new card?
Leftover graphics drivers can conflict with each other. Make sure to uninstall the Catalyst Control Center and all other ATI software.

As these other kind people have suggested – start with a clean installation of your video card drivers, especially since you went from an AMD to an Nvidia card. I’d probably follow-up with deleting the local.dat file (should be in your Guild Wars 2 folder since you’re on XP) and then run a repair of the client.
Keep us updated!
Yeah, when I installed the graphics card I made sure to remove the AMD drivers. I’ll try and delete the local.dat file now and repair.
After deleting the local.dat file and repairing the client it seems I don’t have any more problems.
Thanks.
