After yesterdays patches, I am getting frequent black screens and network errors/disconnects – sometimes it will crash minutes after logging in, sometimes it will last the better part of an hour before crashing. I have added the -testVerticalFoV flag to my launcher shortcut, but nothing else has changed. In every case force closing (Alt-F4) the client allows it to relaunch and run normally.
Any idea where I can look to determine what might be going on?

I have experienced disconnection and game client errors too. But the worst part is that my fps dropped to 7-10 from 40-60 which is huge and idk what happen. Occurred after the latest build this morning.

Not this time… error is “Please check your internet connection and try again. (Code=21:5:11:2171:101)”
I’ll see if I can collect other error codes…

Same.
I lose connection to the log-in server (why it’s checking this when I’m already on-line I do not know) and I disconnect for 10 seconds. None of my other on-line applications are affected.

I got network errors maybe twice, but I got five black screens today alone. Updated video drivers, didn’t do much.

Error 7:11:3:189:101 reporting for duty (although nothing has changed on my part) and i disabled Firewall, etc. And yesterday everything was fine!

Errors happen far more frequently in sPvP… I cannot complete a match without either a blackscreen or disconnect happening.
I haven’t seen error 7:11:189:101 yet, but I have seen a few different error codes… all have the same effect. Often it takes 2 client restarts to start working again, the first one immediately crashes with an error connecting to the login server after selecting the crashed character.

Having the same problem today and I am more than pissed off. This is like playing a game in alpha with so many frequent errors. Yes I mad.

Having this error as well. Nvidia card Quadro FX 3800m, I have tred ajusting some parameters, and today I adjusted the Physx configuration, I thought it was fixed played through the morning with no hiccups, but alast just tried to login and it blacked out on me… Unsure what to do next. It would be reassuring if we can get some kind of response from Anet. If nothing more than to say, “Ok we know about it and are working on it”

Still getting black screens contantly in sPvP… but I did manage to finish one match today, yay! Black screens don’t happen very often elsewhere for me, I can play WvW or any sort of PvE all night and only get one every 2-3 hours.
As for the disconnects, I’m trying the /clientport 80 option, not sure if it helps at all yet. I have a question though: if I want to combine the extended FoV and the clientport option what should my shortcut target look like?
Currently, I’ve got it set to:
“D:\Games\Guild Wars 2 Beta\Gw2.exe” /clientport 80 -testVerticalFov

Ditto here on both the black screens and being disconnected. It has been quite random all over the map but seems especially bad when I use a portal or a waypoint.
Starting to get a tad irritating. Though it is not just me, I was concerned it was something on my end.
