Darkone has already posted this but it’s worth re-mentioning.
This fixed all my crashes in instances and WvW.
Still have the exact same problem. Giving this one a bump. Tried everything, checked everything. I did not have this when I first installed the game, it started after one of the patches. And it seems to be getting worse. Used to be just on loading screens, now it seems pretty random…
Here are my corrupt datalogs

same exact problem and i run amd.
Hey guys, forgive me as I haven’t read the whole post, but I’ve caught some things that ring similar to a problem I had with my laptop shutting down.
I have a Nvidia GT425M card and had crashing problems, while playing my screen would suddenly go black, I’d get a sound error (like the current sound playing getting stuck on a rapid replay) andy computer would shut down. This happened in GW2, Planetside 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic, on Star Wars I could prevent the crash by playing on all lowest settings. This issue started off about 1.5 years into the computers life and has progressively worsened since. I’ve talked with support in Planetside, and had the computer to repair shops but to no avail (Planetside said my GPU wasn’t approved repair shop couldn’t duplicate the issue as it only seems to happen in online games, not during stress tests via 3D mark).
I was reading around again about the issue last night as it has forced me back to Star Wars to enjoy a stable game and I find GW2 superior and really want to play. I have found that many people with my GPU have this very problem, many people with a GT540 have had the issue as well. Finally I found an old post here about someone who downloaded a program called MSI Afterburner. They used it to drop their Core and Memory clock speeds by 50-100 MHz’s. After doing this myself I played 3 hours and ran a story quest that I ALWAYS crashed in without any issues.
My guess is that NVidia overestimated the cards capabilities and ran it a bit fast for stable operation. While it may not fix your issues it might help guys, I hope it can help you like it did me at least .

i still have .cpp crashes however – i do not and never have had the maincli.cpp issue – instead i have a variety of different .cpp files as the cause.
here are some of them:
Assertion: radiusCollision > 0
File: ..\..\..\Engine\Agent\AgKeyframed.cpp(167)
Assertion: damageType < Content::DAMAGE_TYPES
File: ..\..\..\Game\AgentView\AvGadget.cpp(689)
Assertion: agentMarkerData
File: ..\..\..\Game\Marker\Cli\MkrCliContext.cpp(1717)
Assertion: m_scene->BroadphaseOverlaps(aabb)
File: ..\..\..\Engine\Map\Collide\CoCharSimpleCli.cpp(735) <—- most common cause
Assertion: character
File: ..\..\..\Game\Char\Cli\ChCliMsg.cpp(943)
i included the arenanet.txt – my folders have none of the corrupt files and i’ve tried -repair multiple times.
