The same thing is happening to me and it’s driving me crazy. I haven’t had connectivity issues since launch.
I am having the exact same problem as you mate. And I am running Fractals. It was fine 2 days back, but since yesterday this has been in my face.
How the heck am I supposed to play? Do we put a support ticket up for this?
Seriously.
I haven’t been kicked during gameplay, I just haven’t been able to connect entirely (can log in and select character, but get kicked at loading screen) since yesterday morning.
Idk if my problem is the same as everyone else’s, but it’s kinda funny we all started having connection issues on the same day (I haven’t had issues since launch, either).
I’ve been having similar issues today. I get massive lag spikes, followed by either a disconnect (with error code 7:11:3:189:101), or it goes back to normal for a few minutes before getting another massive lag spike. This is making playing just about impossible, not to mention I’ve been disconnected a few times RIGHT before an event completes, cheating me out of the reward.
Observing the latency of GW2 in Resource Monitor shows no unusual latency, and all of my other games/web browsing that use the Internet are unaffected, so it must be a problem with GW2 or its servers. Please look into this, ANet!
Same issue here….frequent lagging and disconnects since yesterdays login issue was resolved. Have not had a problem since game went live….
Same thing is happening with me. Frequent lag spikes… and frequent disconnects. Seems to happen every 3-10 minutes and is random (I also get the same error code as MarauderKing).
Have had it disconnect on me around 10 times today so far in a short period of time… can’t play the game at all.
Please look into it and fix it Anet.

I have the same problem here too. I play since start and had the first problems from yesterday only. Thy for quick solve – Seafarer’s Rest – EU server.

Same problem here. Internet connection is ok but GW2 still laging during 20 sec and disconnetcintig me. Seafarer’s Rest – EU server.
FYI: An increase in the number of disconnections since the recent WvW server reset is also being discussed in the German forum .
As already posted yesterday I continuously encounter network errors (5:11:3:157:101) when loading a map. Since today, I also encounter an “Connection failed” error (26:11:5:506) every other time I try to log in.
I also noticed that it seems that I am able to load my alts (which I haven’t played for some time) without any problems. Yet, when I try to switch the map the receive a network error (5:11:3:157:101) and from that point on the character is also “corrupted” to throw 5:11:3:157:101 and 26:11:5:506 just like the other characters.
It seems to me that this can no longer be explained just by packet losses of individual ISPs .
PS: my server is Riverside [DE] in EU

Hey -
I have been getting frequent disconnects from GW2 – and it started after server reset yesterday. I was in wvw around 7:45PM ET, and since then I get disconnect out (mostly to the character screen but occasionally to the desktop).
I am a wvw commander – so it has really made it impossible for me to lead my guild. My internet connection is fine because I maintain my connection to Teamspeak when these disconnects happen. Would appreciate any help, it happens in random intervals of 3 minutes to half an hour and happens in WvW and PVE zones.
Thank you.
- Haniko
Just imagine if you and your team were about to take over a tower and you get DC just when you breakthrough the gates which happened to me last night .
Well, good to know I’m not the only person getting screwed out of being able to play…
Maybe I’m not tech-savvy enough, but somehow when my internet and ALL my other online games work perfectly except Guild Wars 2, I fail to see how it’s a problem on my end.
This issue has not been resolved – I cannot play the game as a WvW Commander. Please tell me how to reach you guys to get this resolved.

You gotta open a ticket with them and wait 5-10 hours for response by email. I’m willing to bet you’ll be told, just like I was, to check with your ISP.

THIS exactly. I can’t get through character selection page for my main but then I can log in with my alt. This 5:11 error occurs when I wp to another maps. Happened so many times now… followed by inability to log in ranging from 5-20 minutes.
Oh wait.. where am I complaining. It’ll never get response.
Since 17:00 UTC today I am able to play again without any error.
I don’t think I will ever learn what happened.

If you are using Windows 7 and are currently sharing your internet speed, you may be at risk for frequent disconnects.
Please call a doctor and ask for Zodack. Over the counter medication. symptoms include pain, congestion, and possible death.
But seriously, Windows 7 + Unknown variable (related to another person on your network) = Frequent Disconnects
Correct me if I’m wrong, or tell me if I’m right.
