anyone else experiencing bad lagspikes and disconnection?

Australian player here, I have been experiencing a similar thing. Disconnections every few minutes as well as lag spikes more severe and frequent than normal.

I can confirm that when I launched guildwars 2, it was fine until I go in any battles like fractals, raids etc., then my connection drops every cca 120 seconds. It is wierd but it happened only if I play gw2 and it is also wierd it occurs a few minutes after I turn the game off…

Singapore player here, the lagspikes are getting more and more frequent.

Australian here as well. The game is pretty much unplayable, too much lag spikes. Anet pls fix.

Singapore player here, have noticed such lag spikes recently. Exceptionally noticeable in fractals… usually during the boss fight, of course. :P

I just got a notification in-game that the game can’t connect to the login servers. Then it gave me my Guild Chat message as tho I had just logged in. Doesn’t make me want to do anything much cause it seems unstable.

Every day around the same time its like they flick a switch and the ping goes through the roof.

It stays that way for hours and hours then it magically stops for a while.

Its only been a problem for me since ember bay was released, never before at all, ever.

I know for a fact its 100% NOT AT MY END so save your copy pasta response about it.

You guys all need to run pingplotter and determine where the problem is.
It may not be your end, but it may not be Anet’s end either. It could be any one of the several nodes your connection passes through. All these other nodes are owned and maintained by 3rd-party companies. Your ISP pays these 3rd-party companies for the use of their nodes. Download “Pingplotter”, as I said above, it will show you where the problem is. Facebook, YouTube and zillions of other website will work fine because their servers are in different locations and you connection to them takes a different route than it does to the Anet servers.

Run pingplotter, if you see the words Level3 or Telia anywhere in the middle of your route, there is a 99.9% chance that is where the problem is.

indonesian player here has some problem with bad lag spikes and random disconnect, especially when doing raid, pve meta event, and world bosses. This began about one week ago till now and become worse. ANET plz fix this!

Aussie player with another Desertion despite getting back in and winning the match \o/ So frustrating – anyone pinpointed exactly which node yet?
