One of my guild-mates and friends, Sassenach.1590, got banned today for supposedly selling gold or assisting with selling gold.

Earlier this morning, she and I pooled gold together for the golden title. I believe she mailed me 124 gold, which I used to get the golden title and mailed right back to her.

Considering that the only things she did previously was go to WvW and run some jumping puzzles with me, you can imagine she is very confused as to why her game account, forum account, and support account have all been permanently banned on a Friday afternoon just before the end of business hours. This is also the reason I’m writing here instead of her, because you guys not only banned her but also effectively kept her from being able to defend herself.

My theory is that you have some sort of process that automatically bans people for selling gold when they see them mailing gold between accounts. So while she mailed me 124 gold that I used to get the Golden title, your process flagged her as a gold seller.

Needless to say, we would very much appreciate it if someone could review her account and reasons for being banned.

Her account was checked out and un-banned. Thanks for the feedback, and thanks to whoever looked into it :-) .

Your friend needs to contact Customer Support and discuss the issue with them.
