So I have been averaging 12fps on my above graphics card. The rest of the system specs are as follows.

Intel Core i7 920 (runs at 52 degrees Celsius when game runs)
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
6GB DDR3 RAM

If you need further information please let me know. I also would like to mention that I’ve tried every solution that is in the above pinned article about low fps and nothing changes me from getting 12fps.

My cpu usage during the game is around 26% depending on what I’m running. The GPU is running at 95% at 53 degrees Celsuis

Above stats are when the game is running.

Yep, I am having same issue, bought this game midnight launch full settings max 50-60 fps, now its 8-14 fps.

It’s not me, because I cleaned my laptop, cleaned all the virus’s/ registry/defragged.

overclocking and no help.

Think I will move on to Tera. Shame, because gw2 is my favorite game.

check, if a background program slows down GW2 by either using “gamebooster” or by performing a “clean startup”.

misc. tips:

  • turn off reflections, lower shadows, lower shaders and never select “supersampling” as rendersampling method.
  • lower the quality settings at your nvidia-cp.
  • if updating video-card drivers, uninstall them first, then clean out trash it leaves behind with “DriverSweeper” or similiar programs.
  • launch GW2 with the " -repair" command line argument.
  • delete the “local.dat” file at “C:\Users\”yournamehere"\My Documents\Guild Wars 2\"

I’ve done all of that except for the last option so let me try that as well.

Ok tried that also now as well and no improvement. This has been a recent issue since I want to say the living story launch.
