ok so I need to reset my password for my old account that I have for the first Guild wars been waiting to get a answer or help or really anything for my old account I have the SC from the box but I need help

Unfortunately you’ll not get official help on the forums for something like this. You’ll need to have made a ticket and wait for them to contact you that way.

Another unfortunate. Guild Wars 1 doesn’t have support anymore except what gw2 support has taken on. From what I’ve read it’s slower to get help for Guild Wars 1 issues so you might have to wait some time.

Your GW1 and GW2 accounts have the same password.

Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 accounts only have the same password if they are linked. Perhaps, the OP has not linked this particular Guild Wars account with his/her Guild Wars 2 account.

True. Mine is linked since I played GW1 and wanted to make sure I received achievements from my GW1 account.

I suspect, although he didn’t say, that he tried to link and couldn’t do so because he didn’t remember the gw1 password which is needed to be put in to prove ownership before linking
