Guild Wars 2

So I have done a clean windows install – logged into my account on GW2 home page, downloaded the client I then run it, it downloaded a small piece of data and then it just minimized it self. it is not downloading and when I hover over gw2 in the tool bar it shows nothing. any ideas ?

problem solved can this be locked – or just ignore this thread

Can you please tell us what the problem was and what fixed it? It might help someone in the future if they are having the same problem.
