Guild Wars 2

I’ve been wanting to play GW1 for a while and finally got round to installing it. However, whenever I select a character or try to make a new one, I get the error;
“Guild Wars was unable to complete the operation.

Please try again in a few minutes. (Code=013)"

I’ve tried multiple times for 4 hours now with no changes.
Anyone know what’s causing this?

I have this problem to, just bought hero packs so its a bit frustrating when servers don’t come online anymore

Same Problem, just bought the trilogy twice for my Brothers and unfortunatly we can’t start playing that masterpiece atm

I would honestly loose it if Anet decides to kill off this fantastic game!

Plenty of people still play it and I see new players joining all the time, while veterans also manage to find their way back.

I know its wee hours for anet, but would be super cool if we could get a short communication from someone working on the issue

I have the same problem, cant log in with any of my chars, i keep getting the code 13 error. Lets hope anet says something about it

I bought the game today and i can’t even make a character… i keep getting the same 013 error.

Bought the trilogy for a friend last week, we were planning on playing all the campaigns in the comming months. I really hope we can still do this.

the same, apparently European players cant connect. Just bought This Hot account a while back + new trilogy +eotn linked together last week. For a replay of gw 1 and to fill the Hom (and all the delicious gw 2 rewards coming with it) . Hope the servers will be up again soon. Was planning a gw 1 play day instead of a gw 2 one. I cant imagine they shutdown gw 1 servers without a long time notice, so i guess its a server wide problem which will be fixed.

I’m a europe player, but can still log in, because I last played in an American district and the game automatically logs me into the US district. Trying to change to a European district also results in Error Code 13. Also, two of my friends whom I’ve been playing with the last few days have the same problem that most others here have. Is there any way to change the district you want to play in before actually logging into a character? By that European players could simply switch to the US/Asian/international servers.

Just do yourself a massive favor and immerse yourself in the absolute brilliance that GW1 has to offer!
