GW1: Tracking down character names?
If you have a friend that still has the game, you could ask them to login and check their friendslist, otherwise, I dunno.
You can always try contacting customer support, but they’re most likely flooded with tickets at this time, what with the wave of players who thought giving their account information to scammers was a good idea.
Back in 2010, you could contact customer support by phone and get help within 15 minutes instead of 15 days. I don’t know if the number still exists, though. Either way, good luck!

Yeah, I’ve submitted a ticket, but it’s already been about 24 hours with no response, so I’m assuming it’s getting drowned out with everything else going on right now. Was just hoping there might be an alternative to waiting things out.
If you ever typed in your character name into https://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=welcome and your pc is old enough, you can try guessing it.

I’ve already gotten the automated response. Like I said, I’m waiting for a human to respond to me now. It’s frustrating because it will probably be days before I reach the top of the queue for a problem that could probably be solved in five minutes.
It will probably be more than a week. It may be a few weeks. A different CS Team handles Guild Wars support, rather than the regular CS Team that interacts with the forums and such (it does little good to post in the review sticky, as the team that handles GW support does not post there). I believe that particular (GW1) team may be very small.
I am sure they will get to your ticket, but it looks like patience will be needed.
