Already submitted a support ticket, just wanted to ask the community. I went to log in and got this beautiful pop up saying,

“Your Guild Wars 2 account has been terminated for engaging in or assisting with gold or item sales for real-world money, which is a breach of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct. This action is permanent.”

That statement is completely false and I have done nothing wrong, illegal, or against any policies. I would like to have my account back and I hope it hasn’t been deleted since it has been terminated."

I’ll go ahead and say that’s so completely false and I’ve done nothing wrong or against any policies or ToS. Anyways, my question to you guys is:

1) Has this happened to anyone else?

2) How long do support tickets take to get answered?

3) If it says terminated…and permanent…is my stuff still there or has it been deleted and gone forever, even after they realize they made a mistake in banning me?

Thanks for any help you guys can give! I’m eagerly waiting a response from the support, but have no idea how long I will be waiting. >_<

I know for a fact that they make mistakes, because I was wrongly banned for botting earlier yesterday when I’ve never touched a third party program. Unfortunately, their support team may give you a cold shoulder because they gave me a near automated response saying they only terminate accounts they’re “sure” broke the rules.
If these problems are not given attention, their reputation will be ruined. I wasted my money.

Are you still banned? That’s outrageous. I have friends that actually work for ANet, but I don’t want to bother them. But if I must, I will. I’m hoping they straighten this problem out quickly.

Please do not use the forums as a place to rant. Doing so contributes nothing, and having to answer these posts instead of helping players who genuinely can benefit from our involvement is a significant waste of time.

The formula is not post + forum whine = improvement in support. The best thing you can do is allow the team sufficient time to address the issue you’re concerned about.

We do care about these situations, and the team will review the details and will get back to you as quickly as possible. Please allow the team enough time to review the case and resolve it.
