You’re definitely not going to be able to record gameplay well (if you can at all) with that laptop, but it should run the game acceptably on low settings.
I have basically the same laptop and I get 30 to 40 fps and as low as 15 in large zergs with setting medium to low with terrain and sky turned off. I also suggest that you get at least 8Gigs of ram if possible a solid state hard drive. As soon as you get the new laptop the first thing you need to do is get rid of all the craptastic apps and programs that the laptop manufactures puts on it, 99% you will not use anyway so you done need it slowing down your system. Also get rid of the antivirus they install it’s usually McGaffees and it a big resource hog. Get a more gamer friendly AV.
