Guild Wars 2

So, I downloaded the mac client today and I got to 35% earlier before the launcher froze. I forced it to quit and then opened it again only for it to start all over at 1% and then it froze again. Is my mac too new for the client or something? My mac’s a 2013 model with a 15.4" screen and is updated to Yosemite version 10.10.5.

The launchers progress bar represents the percentage of remaining files downloaded, therefore it will always show as 1% when re-opening however the number of files left to download should be lower each time.

As Nitro says, it’s showing you the percentage of remaining files for the download. So you can safely quit the installer, just when you open it will start from 0% again, however all the files you previously downloaded are still there, they’re just not a part of the remaining percentage. No need to worry. You’re safe to quit the launcher as many times as you want during the download process.
