GW2 Support: Anyone else have this issue?

Neither my experience at all. The support has been awesome and improved a lot since 2005. All my problems are fast solved. But what is your problem? What matter do you need help?

Nope. You only get that response when you ask them to do something in which they cannot. Anet Support has been great.
All I need is a simple name change. Once I got him up a little and was able to try to find a helm to match the armour I managed to get: I found no helm in the game covers his face and looks half way decent.
So I even said they could take 400 gems or whatever just to change his name, since the name no longer works (long story, making it short) and they’ve said they can’t.
Can’t help me get my lost money back, can’t help me change a name, aren’t willing to refund me my item that is soulbound to him so I can delete him and transfer things.
It’s very annoying. when I have to put money into the game to do these kinds of things because I do not have the time to farm and do not have a warrior/mesmer in which people are wanting for CoF farm (cant join in as a thief apparently)

In the link I post for you to read, it says there is no ETA and:
“The release is planned for the future, but I’m sure it’s on a to-do list and heck, it could some real soon! The point is, don’t despair — we know this is a desirable feature — that’s why we added it to Guild Wars!” – Gaile Gray

Thanks, I do hope it will be out within a month. I was curious to ask as it was mentioned 4 months ago and the most recent post was 1 month ago on that thread, which is why I asked if there was an updated ETA. I had read it, but 1 month ago of “soon” was vague, which is why I asked here.

Incorrect my friend.
If you have read through the first post, you’d realize this is not the first and is one of many issues I have had with the support. This is merely the most recent. It is annoying that Anet has been unwilling to help in the various situations, even including this which consists of the most simple change. That was the point made.
Anet doesn’t have the Name Change option in yet, and you complain that they won’t help you. Yes it’s a simple request, but one that can’t be made. That doesn’t mean the issues are with Anet Support, but with the requests that you’re asking of them.
The Support Team has helped many players over these past months. Overall, their track record is pretty dang good.
