Zear here, or on GW2 Shiro Bloodowl, with one question…

WHY is my Guild Wars 2 crashing during big fights such as World Bosses and the Knights of the new Living World event?

It just keeps happening, I deleted that little Crash folder in my Local Disk, I lowered the quality, it just keeps happening and it seems there’s no cure for it, the space of my computer is fine, but still…. why? Why can’t these spontaneous crashes during big fights just STOP in it’s tracks forever…. why?

sigh Rant over I don’t wanna get this locked by the ArenaNet folks, oh and to the folks at ArenaNet, would you kindly fix these spontaneous crashes on fights such as the Knights and World Bosses, please?

My system is also crashing during these fights its happened twice during knights and I immediately log back in and get put in some random overflow. My system specs;
Asus Z87 deluxe
Core i7 4770k
2 GTX680 SLI
16 gb DDR3 1600 ram
Corsair 1000watt PSU
Creative X-FI sound card
OCZ 250gb SSD
Resolution is 6000×1200 NVSurround
All Settings Maxed and FPS during large events is 27-30

I have experienced the same thing after each of the two updates today.
Kill the Red Knight, ran over to Green, kill it and the game crashes. It has
happened after both updates today.

Then why the hell is it not fixed yet? This has been affecting me for, I don’t know, before Lion’s Arch was attacked, ugggh with these crashes I’ll never take Scarlet down…!

I hope this gets a fix SOON cause i’m having these crashes since Edge of the Mists update and its getting worse instead of better.
Can’t even complete complete the event cause when i log back in i’m stuck i a different overflow.

Why aren’t there channels to choose from so i can try to get back on the same overflow as before the crash so i can try to continue the event?

Got the exact same problem. Crashes started happening at the patch a month ago, but game is just unplayable now. Can’t do WvW anymore and can’t even do these PvE events because I keep getting thrown out when big fights happen and when starting the game again I’m thrown in an empty overflow.

Filed a ticket, but it seems I won’t be playing anymore as long as this doesn’t get fixed.

I have the same problems from of the Edge of the Mists update and also with the knights that you can kill red and green and than you get the crash (with ranger). With my elementalist i got it inside scarlets event (the only time i got in there). I have tryed the events now 6 times in total, and every time got the crash by one of those 2 events. -_-

Add me to list. Started with Escape from LA, but was anomalous. Now, with the Battle for LA, it happens every single time I’m in that map.

I, too, have been crashing constantly in big fights ever since the new Tequatl. If I lower my settings to medium I’m usually ok, but if I even turn just shaders on high I will 100% crash at some point during a large event. I have updated my graphics drivers (460gtx) and repaired the game. I’m tempted at this point to re-install the game completely, but it actually frustrated me to the extent that I stopped playing for a few months. I came back with the new LA content hoping it would be fixed, but it still happens. How can we get help regarding this issue?

Same here. CTD. Usually in a WvW or the world events zerg. Usually it will throw up the report error window, other times that doesn’t even appear. I’ve repaired the game several times now to no avail. It’s really annoying, especially when I miss out on big rewards. I would say this started to happen about 2 months ago. Before that I didn’t have these issues. I know this has happened to several zerg leaders I was running with as well. CtD happens about 30-35min into play if in a big fight. However re-logging doesn’t necessarily result in a CtD. I have suspicions that the game may have memory leak issues.
