Guild Wars 2

I pulled a full gw2 from another computer and put it on this one. I have gw2.dat, gw2.exe, local.dat, and gw2.tmp.

When I start up the exe, the game starts to download on it’s own, I think. 18k files? It’ll go at 600k/bs but 2 minutes and not even 1% completed. Is that just an update or is the game re-downloading even though I have the 18gb dat file?

all you really need is gw2.dat and gw2.exe

how old is that gw2.dat? There was a large update patch just a day ago.

I think it’s 3 or 4 months old but I can’t imagine that it would take 5 hours to download an update… would it?

So far I’ve downloaded 500mb of this and it hasn’t hit 1%

3-4months old? Thats like release date build.

Wouldn’t be surprised it has to download a fair # of files.
