Hi,

I appear to be having trouble with the launcher. I was playing the game with no trouble last night, yet today when I opened the client launcher I’m faced with a blank screen with only the box to tick for auto-login and the background image. It does also appear to have the loading bar and display the 100%, but after a few seconds this disappeared too (I’ve taken a screenshot of what the launcher looks like).
I don’t know what’s caused this and from looking around I can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong or how to resolve the issue so I’d appreciate some help or if anyone could point me in the right direction, thanks.

Its looking like the recent update is the culprit . Similar thing with me and my mac/osx .My launcher won’t even respond , and other mac users are saying the same thing . yet my laptop /pc is having no issues with the up date. i even tried reinstalling but now it won’t even launch the client .

Well, that sucks.
At least I know it’s not my fault (or doesn’t appear to be). I was worried I unintentionally did something to corrupt the file.

You all won’t get much help here unfortunately. I suggest you all file a support ticket. It is about the only way to let Anet know there is a problem they need to look into.

i am having the same problem on my macbook air. have had this game over a year and off and on have had issues including the more recent TP not opening.

this patch won’t open at all. i too get this same blank loading screen and nothing happens. I’ve re downloaded re installed. i tried a couple other avenues suggested by players on this forum and nothing.

this is pretty annoying that it seems that us mac users no matter how dedicated and long term players we are, we do not get the same attention to detail as pc users.

So, they got into contact with me fairly quickly but decided to give me advice on how to handle the situation on a Windows PC…

I had this issue too. For me, resetting firewall settings on my router fixed the problem. Not sure if it helped or was just a bug after the recent patch that worked itself out.

I don’t really know how to reset my firewall settings on my router… So I guess I just have to wait for things to get fixed another way.

I am having the same problem. O tried to reinstall the game and the launcher it doesn’t even appears.
