-I am in Dubai (Middle East) for a Summer vacation.
-Is this likely to affect lag and possible DC issues?
-If so, do I have to spend money to transfer my character to Europe servers, then again to America when I go back or something?

If you wish to transfer, you can purchase Gems to do so, or alternatively, delete all your characters and transfer at no cost.

I would imagine the farther you are from the servers, the more lag.

The lag is gone, haven’t DC-ed once (albeit in 10 minutes of gaming). On top of that, I got to keep my 7g, 40K karma and all my bank items. THANK YOU DUDE. YOU SHOULD BE ANETS CUSTOMER REP.

Ah! I assume you deleted characters and transferred at no cost. Yes, anything account-bound transfers with you (as you are transferring your account). Well done, and good luck on your new server!

LOL IT’S SO BUGGED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All 3 teams in WvW are friendly, are in same chat and everyone can tag up. And the walls are blinking. But apparently I just happened to walk into the first time it’s happened ever. Hope it gets fixed soon. I wanna jet to 80. It runs so smooooth.
