GW2 using too much memory.
I would run a memtest on your memory first. It sounds like as much as you have 16 gigs, something is wrong with some of it.
The win 10 memory test indicated no errors with the memory.
What is your virtual memory setting at in your Win10 machine?

Currently the paging file is disabled for all drives. Never needed it before as even when working on some large 3dmax models while rendering it was hard to get the pc to use all 16gb of ram.
I guess I could maybe enable it on one of the extra hard drives if that could be causing it. I’m not sure why it would have started now though as I have been playing the game on and off for a couple years on the same PC and never had this happen before.
I haven’t had it happen in any other games either.

Windows is designed to use the page file. When you disable it, some programs won’t work properly no matter how much RAM you have.
I’ll try enabling it today when I get home but that doesn’t explain why this only started happening in the last couple weeks when I have been playing GW2 and other games for 2 years on this pc without the paging thing being an issue or that it still doesn’t happen in other games or programs.
You have Win10 already since 2 years ? o.O
Its maybe a Win10 “feature” ^^
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
I’m running the same specs in terms of ram, OS, and GW2 version, and I never came across this.
Did you get the Win 10 64bit?
Well the win 8.1 to 10 upgrade was whenever it rolled around but 10 has been on there long enough where I would have noticed it unless there was something specific to a recent win 10 update but I would imagine we would be hearing more about it and that it would likely affect other games and programs if it was due to win 10.
Yes, windows is 64bit. It would be pretty silly to build a pc with 16gb of ram that had a secondary use of rendering stuff using 64bit 3dsmax and then install 32bit windows. I know that type of stupidity happens but that isn’t the case here.
Just to update the situation, it seems the issue was related to the killer network manager. Some update, either with the game or win10 must have broken something as it related to the network manager. I uninstalled it and installed the newest version and it seems to have fixed the problem.
