Q:
GW2 won't run on 2 monitors :(
2 monitors is not a gaming config (ur character would be split in a half, so most likelly no 3rd/1st person game will support that). U need 3 monitors in order to play this kind of games, also ur videocard will not support that kind of configuration since it is a low en card. For a 3 monitor setup u need a high end card something arround the 300$ price tag at least with 2gb of memory or more.

You can play on 2 monitors. You need to setup either eyefinity on amd or whatever nvidias is called.

I tried it on 2 monitors for fun and it worked fine except cut scenes were zoomed in to the characters too far.

theres the instructions on setting up eyefinity. Should be the same just with 2 monitors not 3.

Hi,
I’m not sure the ‘sapphire radeon hd 6670’ will support eyefinity as the ones I have seen online do not have the required (mini) display port. Also, a 1GB card could potentially run eyefinity but 2GB would be better!
I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 (2GB – VaporX) that has the diplay port and does eyefinity rather well over three landscaped monitors – I use an active display port to DVI adaptor as my monitors do not have display port. A friend bought a 6670 online that was advertised as having (mini) display port but when it arrived the port was actually HDMI and thus no good for eyefinity. Further to this, it could be that your 6670 will only allow simultaneous output from two of its ports at a time – not all three! This is due to how the 6670 (or some it 6670’s it seems) are designed and the circuitry in them – this could be verified in your graphics card documentation.
On a dual monitor set up, your game character and main action area woul be obscured by joint of the sides of the monitors (bezels) and would not be best for gaming. That said, have you tried setting the game to run in windowed mode and resizing to fit the two monitors? If not, you could maybe try that.
Hope you can find a workable solution.

You only need 1 display port if you have 3 monitors. For 2 monitors 2 dvi/hdmi will work fine

Also in gw2 you can offset the camera slightly left or right of your character to adjust for the center bezel on a 2 monitor setup.

Ah! I probably knew that! Been a while since I set up my eyefinity and I went straight from 2 monitors on an Nvida card that I had setup as either independant to have full screen game on one and web browser on other or as one full desktop to eyefinity with multiple presets.
If it helps anyone here, AMD have a good page for eyefinity FAQs (yes – there is a bit about two monitors
) it is this; http://www.amd.com/uk/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/how-to/Pages/faqs.aspx that could be useful.
Edited to fix link. Or not! The link is correct but accessing it from these forums is currently throwing up an error! When I copy and paste the link (to URL bar) though it works.

Maybe should have mentioned too that eyefinity is not yet fully supported in GW2!
Character creation / selection screens are outsized, cutscenes do not appear properly (character placement mainly) and some in game screen elements may appear displaced or on outer monitors rather than the prefered central monitor. Thing is, AN have said they are working on this.
Back to OP. Silly question time again! Have you tried different combinations of graphics output ports from the graphics card to the monitors? This may sound silly – especially when we assume that your desktop works fine on two monitors but it may be worth trying.
Have you been into the GW2 settings and ensured you have the ‘eyefinity’ resolution selected? Yes! that is another silly question but the resolution can be easily overlooked. My desktop bevel corrected resolution is 5960×1080 and if chosen in game it works well. I was running the game at the slightly lower resolution of 5760×1080 for a short while (I thought I’d selected 5960×1080) and this worked but not so well.
I hope this helps as I cannot think of any other solution just now.
Aaagghh! Just lost the last edit by pressing reply instead of edit!
Anyway, I thought on a bit about your problem and have another suggestion! Go into Catalyst Control Centre (or Vision Engine Control Centre as it may be called) and check that you have an eyefinity (SLS) group set up or if you can set one up. Your monitors may be in ‘Extended’ mode and this may be why GW2 switches down to one monitor. Setting up an eyefinity display group (‘Control Centre’ > ‘AMD Eyefinity Multi-Display’ > ‘Create Eyefinity Display Group’) may solve the issue. And, remember, once set up, you can add the eyefinity, extended or other mode as a preset!
I have slow typing and add things as they come to mind so my relies have been a bit fractured – sorry. Hope this helps some – even if it just helps eliminate possibilites. Good luck.
(Last, I hope) Edit – the video linked is a bit old but still very good – I just watched it and it covers what I wrote earlier – lol!
