Guild Wars 2

OK this isn’t new to me I’ve had this problem for about a year now and it still hasn’t been fixed. Basically I will be playing the game quite happily with no lag of any kind then suddenly the screen will freeze up for about 5 seconds, then black out and then return to the game 5 seconds later. If I tab out of the game however things get worse. If i then continue to play after i have tabbed out my computer will completely black screen and freeze up requiring a reboot. I have tried every possible fix under the sun including reinstalling display drivers. Wiping my display drivers completely and reinstalling them, reinstalling windows adding more RAM you name it. This seems to be the only game i have a problem with and the game worked fine up until a year ago so I’m at a loss. If anyone has a remote idea what is wrong please help!!!! :P

My GPU is an ATI RADEON 5700

Its a driver issue .. i bet you get an error like “your drivers have been reset due to an arror .. blabla” ..

I installed the latest Beta-Drivers some weeks ago and since then i also experienced
those driver crashes for 5-6 times.

Or .. you GPU is slowly dying .. i remember i had that also some years ago more and
more often .. and then suddenly when i rebootet there was no more red visible and
it was time for a new card.
