since the update every single time i press the “achievement” button in the hero panel the game completely shuts down and sends me to the report a crash interface…

…please do something about it.

…the weird part is that i can access the achievement panel through the daily UI on the top right of the screen by double clicking on it.

it still crashes my game when i try to do it via the hero panel though… please help me ?

Have you tried running the game with the “-repair” option

Also, delete your local.dat file located in your C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Guild Wars 2 folder.

I have same error.

roger that im repairing as i type thie reply. ill delete the local.dat file afterwards and let u know if i still crash after clicking on the the achievement button !

thanks for the help anyhow , at this point i’ll try voodoo or scientology to bring back game stability

Both did nothing for me.

I have the same issue, Hero panel to achievements = instant crash to desktop.. there is definitely something going on here that is on ANET’s side.. there will be a follow up patch today I’m betting.. they have to be getting a ton of these error reports by now.

Same here. I tried repair and full reinstall and the same issue still exists. But nothing wrong with my boyfriend’s computer with windows7. Maybe the new update is partly incompatible with windows 8?

After the newest update the issue no longer exists!

I’m crashing like crazy.

Since last evening update I cannot enter Hero panel, game crashes and offers me to send a report to anet, in other words to you. I have tried to repair, to reinstall and such, however it didn’t help, I still cannot enter to the heros panel. would please be so kind and fix this problem, since its quite troublesome.
