I get it also the update also broke logging into the game with the Mobile Authenticator.

I am getting the same error. I was just playing the game when we got the notice about the new build. When I tried to log back in I started to get this error. It’s happening right after I enter my mobile authentication number to log in.

I’ll try turning of authentication and try again I guess.

Mine crashes soon as I enter the authenticator code after the updates minutes ago.

i can confirm un-linking the Authenticator solved the problem

I an also experiencing the exact same thing after logging out for the game update that happened this evening. When I went to log back in I received the ‘serious error’ message. I too have sent Anet the file several times.

Any tech support ideas on how to fix this?

I went to my account. Disconnected the mobile authentication and it fixed. Thanks!

Same thing is happening to me. Launcher crashes after entering authenticator code.

UPDATE: Problem fixed for me after latest patch. Reattached my authenticator to the my account and everything working as normal. Nicely done ANet. Thanks for the fast resolution.

my problem here is that since I guess the Nov 1st update, I’m no longer asked for the authenticator code. I’ve tried to unlink it and initiate a brand new link, but I’m still not asked for the code.
I love that authenticator and want to have the support for it again!

well, you had to authenticate using your mobile before that

problem fixed just relinked and all goood

Open GW2, entered log-in information, hit Play, nothing happens. Computer says GW2 is playing but there are no graphics, only music. Feels like I just put the soundtrack on rather than opening the game.

I’m not linked via mobile authentictor and I still get the crash
