Have been playing GW2 since a month or so after launch with no issues. Since last update/patch, now we get disconnects and crashes. Can no longer attend world boss events/daily events with large population of other players as we undoubtedly get dc’d and when relogged we get to go to a low pop instance with no boss. Many times pvp will crash us, and the TP can be inaccessible at times also. On the NA server(s) and hoping the families 3 accounts are not destined for inactivity… 
Game Crashing since last update
I have a constant stream of disconnects and game crashes ever since the Wintersday patch was put in place. I play only PVE and World boss or daily events are near impossible to complete due to crashes and disconnects. I have way over a year and 10 level 80 characters invested in this game and all of a sudden I am wasting my time when I log in.

been experiencing this on my Mac since day one. It seems to be a problem with CIDER
If it was the patch then it would effect everyone but that in not the case. I’m almost certent you are having internet issues I just a coincidence that it happened at the patch it would also be helpful if you would post system specs, crash logs, ISP, and basic location like city, state, country. This is a common problem in online gaming right now lag and disconnects. Its not just GuildWars you go to any game support forum and the number one complaint is lag and disconnspects, Good luck.

It happened again just now while leaving Divinity’s Reach going into Queensdale. I am from the North Mississippi area of North America. error log attached.

Have you tried disabling unneeded start-up programs to eliminate a possible software conflict?

I have 3 computers in the house on a network. One account will crash and the others keep running the game no problem. If it was the internet I would expect all 3 computers to lose internet connection at the same time, (correct me if I am wrong) but this is not the case with these crashes. Just took me several tries to get the pvp game browser to connect. I never totally lost connection but on our other account it showed me offline/online/offline/offline/online several times while trying to connect to see the game name list. Many of these were in the same time stamp. Kept telling me I was having firewall/router/network issues, all the while the other account was seeing the list just fine. It is not just the one computer either as the other one dropped game an hour or so before while it was the only one logged in to game. Seems to happen more during peak times of late, good thing I work a rotating swing shift where my peak time changes regularly I guess :P.
i wish my issue is just game crashing or disconnected but nothing else. But my problem is the game crashs when changing maps and my computer goes black screen, i have to force to turn off the computer and turn it back on every single time. And I am 100% positive my computer performance is good and have no temperature issue. the game running greatly until the winter update.
abomally, I will try your suggestion and disable background programs. I am about ready to try anything. I had 14 crashes and disconnects yesterday all told.
