when i chose a character and press play the loading screen into an area crashes my PC

also the Gw2 repair Crashes aswell..

im not an IT expert and i shouldnt need to jump through hoops for this game to work, this has only started happening since the Patch.

hurry up with the quick fix. all my other games work fine.

Attempted a repair again, PC crashed when it reached "veryifing archive " file remaining 147,654.
I’ve left my PC in it’s crashed state out of anger.

That’s the last time I’m trying to log in, I’ll wait until anet say something

If your computer is crashing while merely attempting to repair files – it’s your computer that’s broken.

Of course, we can’t really help you if you don’t provide info about your computer or crash logs, etc.

Check the SMART state of your harddisk, also look in your windows event-log for errors.
Could be a defect harddrive, or wit luck only your SATA cable, but if the crash always happens always at the same address it looks more like harddrive has unrecoverable errors.
