Greeting,

My GW2 frequently crush saying a serious error occurs especially when teleporting to waypoint far away or crush during normal gameplay. It pops a box that allow me to send the issue to ANET. I clicked but the situation persists.

I run the game display in recommended setting. My computer spec:

i5 4460
8G ram
R9 270X 2G display card
250G SSD
Windows 7 32bit

Can anyone suggest feasible solution? Thanks alot

Please post the crash text. You can find it via the “Show Details” button in the dialog you posted a picture of.

It is likely your Windows 32bit which doesn’t allow enough RAM. Upgrade to Windows 64 bit to help alleviate your crash issues.

You are wrong, he is using Windows 64 bit. The main problem was the Memory address that cannot be read. Not Out of Memory.

The op stated 32 bit, and no information on the cause of the crash was given, hence why the dev asked for the crash log. The linked crash log is from someone else, and may be completely unrelated. Without knowing that, there is nothing really even to hint at what is causing the crash.

And 64 bit windows wouldn’t necessarily help with memory issues, depending on specific circumstances. It will once all programs are 64-bit, which won’t occur til more people are using 64-bit operating systems, and all that may be unrelated.

I always love it when people use still 32 Bit windows and have 8 or even 16 GB
of RAM installed

Upgrade to 64 Windows is the only real fix. If you have an original Microsoft Version
you can download a 64-Bit ISO at Microsoft and install it with your Serial Number.

Else try playing with minimal graphics settings, since the problem is mostly that
you just have out of memory crashes.
