Game Freeze but responsive
Are you doing any overclocking (CPU, GPU)?
System specs would also help.

Technical Support
Hey there,
Looks like it’s possible this could be an issue with your GPU, or at least the drivers. The fault module in the crash log points to: gvosd.dll, which belongs to Gigabyte.
Disable the Gigabyte OC program from running at start up – it’s causing the crash.
Please follow the instructions here:
I had the same problem occuring twice so far. Both times on the start of Tequalt fight (so at the moment when there’s a lot of people/effects visible on screen). Similarly, waiting doesn’t help, I can hear everything works, but the surface is not redrawn. I normally play windowed and changing to fullscreen in this state crashed the game (I sent the crash log using the crash reporter when it happened; if I read the dump correctly, it crashed in kernelbase).
My specs are: i5 3470k, gt650ti 1GB, 8GB RAM, win7 x64. Nothing is overclocked, I don’t have gigabyte stuff in background.
I uninstalled the gigabyte OC program a long time ago, back in like 2012. I dont really know how to read the log, but it seems like when gvosd.dll is mentioned, all the time stamps are in 2012.
EDIT: a search through my directories, i can’t even find gvosd.dll.
This particular issue never caused the game to crash, i had to alt f4 to close.
In, fact i was doing Teq as well and my friend directed me on Teamspeak to get credit.
I was doing it completely blind
Since last post, i have had 4 instances of the same thing, all of them at world events.
and twice in WvW, zerg wasn’t big in these cases
