I cannot seem to stay connected to the game client. Is anyone else having this issue?

Having the same issue here. Disconnects randomly after like 1-2 minutes.

I’m glad it’s not just me. I was a bit worried.

Yes, this has started for me as well with the last 25 minutes.

Same here and each time find my character back in LA.

I’m having the same issue, only I get disconnected every 30 seconds or so.

This is the message I keep receiving…
“The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client an trying again. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)”

I’m getting disconnects about every 30ish seconds in LA and Queensdale. Just enough to try to reach the daily mini dungeon and alllmoooost make it before getting kicked back to character select.

same here, can’t enter PvP Q anymore either.. keeps giving random errors. LUL

Ping spiking up to 2k on multiple occasions in WvW these past few hours. Was getting unplayable.

Haven’t actually lost connection though.

Mmmm, yeah, this is hitting me also. Doesn’t seem like packet loss, and interestingly, I lose connection to Rata Sum, my (Asura) home instance, and the Brisbane Wildlands, but not in Lions Arch. So… that’s a thing?

The game has been really odd for the last little while. Rarely have an issue with it but lately it has been erratic.

no technique support looking why sever is slow?

Mostly having trouble in PvP rooms and guild/personal instances. I try to interact, and it dumps me quickly afterward.

Yep. 4 times so far since reset (1.5 hours ago). Definitely not my internet, as the only thing affected on my 3 computers is ANET on this one.

I log in, get about 1k-2k ping and then lag out. It’s not my connection because everything else is running perfectly.

mar connection is find anet probl sever issue. got like 4 crash a row -.

Game has become unplayable. 4 more crashes since my update above about 15 minutes ago. This may not even make it to the forums

Happening to me as well. But it isn’t happening to everyone so it may not be an attack against Anet but an attack against a switch or node that also routes a lot of people to GW2 servers.

This, guys, is thé good old pre-patch lagg. Anet is testing and what not. It used to be like this all thé time back when everybody recognised it..

I have been on the game since the start, this is not “pre-patch lag” nor was there ever anything like this before a patch. For one thing, if that were the case it would affect everyone yet it’s not. There is something going on and it seems to affect really only the upstream because as I am lagging I can still see people moving about doing their stuff. I have checked with friends on TS and have confirmed what they were doing as I was experiencing the upstream lag. If Anet was doing something to cause it would not only affect everyone but also cause more issues on the downstream.

Well… this sucks. Hopefully it’ll be fixed by tomorrow.
And the patch is on the 22nd right? That’s day after tomorrow. It would suck to have this tomorrow night too.

i had the same problem, and for some reason decided to try guest another server and that fix the problem. not sure if it will work for all maps but worked for divinity and bitterfrost

It runs in streaks. After my 2nd update I went 2 hours solid and thought they had fixed it. Now 2 downs about 5 mins apart. I’d already stopped doing anything I’d get really irritated if I crashed out of, sticking to farming rubies, etc. Now I’m just quitting for the night. I don’t suspect there’s any attack. Just flaky power or some server getting overloaded and kicking some out. Not everybody, just some.

I can’t even stay in game for more than a minute, this is getting old really fast.

FWIW, I just went and ran around Ascalon for a few hours doing map completion, and had no connection problems. Tried Rata Sum again, boom, instant d/c. So… yeah, it’s a strange thing, but not uniform. Maybe that sort of work-around helps others?

Like with all theses thread that have been started lately, there have been internet issues lately both in the US and EU, so far I have not been effected and nun of my ingame freind have been effected except for one in the Southwest US if this were a game server issue then everyone would be effected and that is just not the case not sure what anyone can do, you all need t ride it out this usually clears up on its own. Also if this were a game related issue Anet would be on these forums informing us of the ingame issues an telling us that it will be fixed just like they have in the past every time there has been a game issue.
