Hello,

I suddenly get this error very often when trying to log in.
Usually works after 2-3 login attempts.

But I wasnt receiving this error this often before.

Please help.

It says: The game client was unable to connect to the log-in server, Please restart your client and try again. If the problem persists, contact customer support.

Ive already ran a repair of the game client.

Same thing has been happening to me too on last few days on two different computers.

I’ve been having this problem for several days or maybe a week, too. On more than one account and on more than one computer. Several of our guildies are reporting the same problem. To the people who have posted in this thread before me, are you EU players, too? I suspect this problem might be limited to certain regions of EU.

A french fansite wrote an april fools article about the closing of european servers, so, maybe? ;D

Also, just had the same issue, tried 2 or 3 times, typed my password again (using the -autologin argument usually), and it worked.

Yes, im from the EU.

And still experiencing the problem.

Sometimes it takes 2-3 attempts to login before I actually get logged in.

It’s happened to me once in last few days. I assumed until I saw this thread I had put my password in wrong 3 times.

Same issue for me, I’m a Dane so seems fairly EUcentric at this point?

I bet it’s a British bloke upset about Brexit papers !

haha, yeah, US players also report this sort of thing, but who knows? Anyway, the most common EU complaint was a third party transit provider that sits between your ISP and ANet, and which was dropping packets. :/

https://www.pingplotter.com/fix-your-network will help you track down where, exactly, the problem is happening (or eliminate at least some network related causes) though, so I’d start there.

(or contact support via a ticket, at which point they will ask you to do roughly that anyway.)

I’ve been getting this problem too for the last couple of days, but I’m unable to log in completely now this morning due to this error. Every time it has done it once then let me play normally with no latency or ping issues. But not any more. I just can’t get past the log in at all.

The problem started for me about a week ago. Now it’s reached a point where I simply can’t log in anymore no matter what I do. Repairing the client does nothing either.

Please fix this already!
