I experience crashes during world boss events. It happens part way through the event, and forces me to restart the client.
Today I got two crashes. The first crash happened at the start of Kill Admiral Taidha Covington, and the last at Karka Queen about 20 sec after it spawned.

Specs:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz
8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z77X-D3H
3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (EVGA)

Do you have a very large monitor and everything on very high ?

It seems you hit the point where GW2 needed more memory than even 64-bit windows
can provide to a 32-bit application :

  • Process Memory <—*
    Private: 3577MB
    WorkingSet: 3346MB
    PeakWorkingSet: 3512MB

I would lower at first maybe the character modell limit ..

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

Or make a 64-Bit Client.

SOE at least leaves 32-bit totally behind with EQNext / Landmark.

a 64bit client would fix these types of crashes. The private working set of 32bit of 3.5GB (give or take a few hundred MB).

The only fix is to reduce the number of players on the screen so that your Client doesn’t have to cache all the textures and such.

I used to crash all the time at Teq, then I moved my char limit to medium. No more crashes. That really says something.

Desktop: 4790k@4.6ghz-1.25v, AMD 295×2, 32GB 1866CL10 RAM, 850Evo 500GB SSD
Laptop: M6600 – 2720QM, AMD HD6970M, 32GB 1600CL9 RAM, Arc100 480GB SSD

The only best way is to make a 64bit client. I’ve checked your crashlog, Presac and Norris. The limitation of a 32bit was reached.

From Presac (OOM: Heap):
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3577MB
WorkingSet: 3346MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3512MB

Virtual Memory…. ~250 MB

From Norris (OOM: Heap):
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3588MB
WorkingSet: 3318MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3565MB

Virtual Memory… ~140 MB

My previous crashes (all OOM: Heap from my ArenaNet.log):

01 Oct 2014
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3451MB
WorkingSet: 3370MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3466MB

Virtual Memory… ~344 MB

24 July 2014
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3482MB
WorkingSet: 3480MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3494MB

Virtual Memory… ~189 MB

19 July 2014
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3688MB
WorkingSet: 3611MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3613MB

Virtual Memory… ~90 MB

11 June 2014
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3538MB
WorkingSet: 3487MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3488MB

Virtual Memory… ~157 MB

1 May 2014
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3325MB
WorkingSet: 3284MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3287MB

Virtual Memory… ~286 MB

27 April 2014
—> Process Memory <—
Private: 3403MB
WorkingSet: 3375MB
PeakWorkingSet: 3375MB

Virtual Memory… ~288 MB

and still counting… (12x more between 2800 and 3600 MB of private process memory).

Btw… you can set the texture detail from high to medium… it saves up to 1GB of private process memory…

System:
Intel Core i7 3770
16 GB DDR3-1600 RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 2 GB GDDR5
Samsung 830 (max. 1 GB virtual Memory)
