Guild Wars 2

Since i updated to the most recent build of Gw2 my game keeps crashing everytime i play longer then 15 minutes, i did’nt have any crash problems before i updated.

It might be cause the build is a bit unstable? but i know nothing about these kind of stuff but if you have any question about what is was doing everytime is crashed i can say 1 thing:
i was near the end of the personal story quest: Retribution (the part where you fight back against the Risen and get Claw Island back.)

Please find a fix.

I’m having the same issue. I can play for about 30-45 minutes and then I get a crash that freezes my entire computer. I know it’s happening when text from all of the menus starts to disappear and the sound starts to get funny. I can still play (with no text) for 30 seconds or so, but then it hard freezes and I have to reboot my machine manually.

I went back to stock everything (CPU, GPU, Mem clocks), and ran extensive tests on all of my components. CPU and GPU are not overheating or throwing errors, and the memory has tested out fine. This is really frustrating as it appears that it is a game issue. Prior to today, I was able to play for hours upon hours with zero issues. Here is my setup:

3570k
HD6950
16 GB RAM (4×4)
Crucial M4 128GB SSD

My computer is doing the same as well. It usually freezes around the same spot too, whenever I am clearing the 3 ramparts. It hard freezes and I have to shut down my computer manually. I cannot go any further with this quest messing up. Does anyone know of the fix or why it is doing this? I am glad to know I am not the only one with freezing problems, because at first I thought it was my computer…Please help!

my computer is 6weeks old and i’m crashing for no reason really getting tired of it no matter what i do or don’t do i get random crashes. now i see im not the only one so PLEASE fix this game

Besides being annoying the crashes are also damaging important system files. I’m running system restore as I type this. Very annoying and frustrating. Never had any problems before guild wars 2.
