16GB RAM / ASUS GTX 970 / 240GB SSD / WD 1TB
Game crashes a lot (10x/day avg)
16GB RAM / ASUS GTX 970 / 240GB SSD / WD 1TB
I have exactly the same problem. Since today…
Have not played that much yesterday but I think it has to be of some patch/update yesterday. I did not change anything at my computer and it worked fine until now.
I did not run it with “-repair” but I let it check the files after I started again(it asked because it remembered the client crashed and wanted to check files)… did this 2 or 3 times and still the same problem.
Same .cpp file.
MainCli.cpp
In WvW area(shortly after joining) and after returning from the WvW Jumping Puzzle to LA it crashed. The sPvP worked fine… played 3 matches today without crash.
Was unable to play gw2 for two weeks since i got this error. I must have repaired the game more than 50 times. Downloaded a fresh version still getting error.
I recommend using memtest 86+ to test your ram though. Unlike my case, your RAM can be damaged and changing can solve the issue.
Within the past 3 hours, system crashed 9Xtimes.
Forget about the ‘repair’ theatric, it’son Arenenet server end.
Party Members in WvW had crashed 8-17 xtimes within 3 hours.
It’s irritating and unjust; either they merge servers or open new servers, the best case solution is for them to give the game problems to other company/devs who clearly have a clue to how to fix it.
This is 1 problem that existed since the game release and still unto this day, no Fix.
Every so called fix; are “Temporary”.
Pretty much that’s their solution.
No I don’t think memtest will help. I think there would be another error message if it was related to RAM.
I just got another crash. Can’t even get to the zerg in WvW. Every time I join WvW…
This time another .cpp file. I’m also running a 64 bit OS.

Removed some of the longer parts from the log. But I’m sending it now to ArenaNet cause it offers to send it. Did not send the last ones. The part “Error Logs” shows there are some errors in their .cpp file.
Still crashing with the above also

Maybe one of the specialist from ArenaNet should read this topic and help everyone that has this problem..
