Guild Wars 2

I stopped playing GW2 some time in november of last year, and started up again in january this year. but now, suddenly, the game constantly crashes my computer! no other game does this, and this never happened before.

As everybody knows, this game sucks the life out of cpu. When playing GW2, mine is between 60 and 100, depending on the event. My graphic settings are turned all the way down. The temp of my gpu is around 55C and, everything else dances between 55-60C. All of my drivers are up to date, and I have tried unparking my cpu, as well as parking it at low %’s to see what would happen.

Why, after 2 months, would my computer suddenly decide to crash when I play GW2? This problem has made the game unenjoyable and nearly unplayable for me. I’m frustrated.

I came back after a long time too. I think they added on some new settings. My video card got toasted and the power supply was not enough to handle it. 700W PSU, but only able to output about 480W continuously. I got it stable by unplugging some devices, DVD, 2nd HD, etc. Running stable now at about 400-450W with new video card, new Power Supply is on the way. This may not be related to your issue.
