Guild Wars 2

I just downloaded the wintersday patch, which keep in mind, my game has been working perfectly fine since this download, but when I log in, I can get to my characters, even go through character creation and so on, however when I try to load any map (as far as the locations on my characters go — ex. Lion’s Arch, Metrica Province) the game will minimize to my desktop and I’ll have to force close it through task manager.

Any ideas?

usually this is fixed by deleting local.dat

this will reset any graphics settings however, so you’ll need to set these again aftwards

Yeah that did it, something must have been altered screwing it up, Thanks!

I’ve made a habbit of deleting the local.dat after every big update.
