I’m getting disconnects, but not in the game in general. In all cases it is in a story instance. Usually it is either at the end of story stage, or the end of the instance. In the most recent case it is in Hidden Arcana.
I get to a point of “reveal the memory”. Click to get the reveal memory, have the cut scene and straight after game looses connection.
Nothing else looses connection, and I have a second PC there. So any ideas as to what is happening? My first thought is that the server is under load and is closing instances to reduce it.
I’ve been getting this exact same issue. I contacted support, who told me to reinstall the game. It worked for a while, but now I’m getting the same issue, even after a fresh reinstall where I deleted the game data in app data. Really really frustrating.
My boyfriend and I are having the same issue as well. Some instances we’ll be okay, but others once we get to the end they’ll disconnect us. We just tried Torn From the Sky and were fine up until right at the end. It’s definitely making it hard to progress.
Yep same issue. Extremely frustrating to lose all progress and have to start over. Seems to be an issue with the cut scenes. That’s the only time it is occurring.
I have had this happen to me as well, but in my case it can happen any time in the game, and is not specific to a particular story instance. I had just gotten to the end of “Plan of Attack”, after going through that tedious battle with the Menders…and it booted me. The game said that I had lost connection to the server, and the screen was all black with the music still playing in the background. My wi-fi was working fine (though wi-fi losing connection can also create this issue, but this wasn’t one of those moments). I am dreading going back into that instance…

I’ve been having this happen a lot. Most of the time it’s at the point where I’ve almost completed the story instance. It’s always a disconnect to character select but only happens when in story instances. I don’t get it in dungeons, cities, or the open world. Very frustrating.
I don’t know what’s more frustrating, having the same problem or seeing a lot of others stating they also have the problem but there is no solution or possible fixes to be seen across the forum. Does this forum even have mods/staff or any of that?
