Guild Wars 2

Occasionally (more than) my client will freeze, black screen, go to desktop, then back to game and read my display driver stopped working on my desktop. Now I ran Memtest, everything came back fine. Updated drivers. Tried playing even in low settings (when I almost max or do max FarCry 3, ARMA3, Skyrim, BF3, and ARMA2). Every game is fine but GW2. I run in windowed fullscreen also. Also tried Anet solution that is stickied.

My specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition x64
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD7850
RAM: 8GB
CPU: Intel i5-2500k running at 3.3GHz
PSU: Corsair TX650

Any help would be appreciated. I’ve had this ever since launch of GW2. Literally cannot find a solution

install the apps profiles from here http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/pages/crossfirex-app-profiles.aspx

and check if the issue resolved

Played a bit tonight. Ended up happening affter ~45min of gameplay then again 10min in even with the amd app download

when you updated the drivers did you total uninstall and after retart the pc and installed the new one or just upgrade ?

also many antivirus don’t allow some changes in system files . better disable it when you install / uninstall drivers
