Guild Wars 2

Hi,

I just reinstalled GW2 on my mac with yosemite. After the installation is done, I launch gw and nothing happenned except the gw’s icon in the dock. The launcher is not showing and so on I can’t launch the game. It is impossible to quit the game except fy forcing it. I try many things like remove the gw’s folder in the Application Support folder, reinstall, check my system if everything is ok but it’s still not working.

Anyone has encounter this problem or have a solution please ?

I’ve received an answer from the support. They advise me to reinitialise the SMC and now it is working.

To reinitialise the SMC, follow the instruction at this link :

If it still not working, you can also reinitialise the PRAM. For that, start your mac and maintain the button CMD-Option-P-R in the same time before the grey screen until that your mac has restarted. You should hear the start sound twice.

I am too… I do not see anything at all except for the icon on the bottom of my dock. I was looking foward to playing today T_T.

Same problem here. I cannot start the game properly any more. Worked fine this morning, but now it never displays the first window after clicking the launcher in the applications folder.
