I have submitted tickets in game and posted on here about client freezing and crashing. I have not had any support from Anet about how to fix this and even done stress tests, checked hardware, virus and malware scan, anything i can think of and still this problem persists. I understand Anet busy getting through tickets and resolving issues but for me I can’t play this game anymore and it’s a shame as I have enjoyed playing.

Start by throwing a dxdiag and your system specs into a reply on this thread.
What version of the drivers for your GPU, are you using.
when does your client freeze?

Desktop: 4790k@4.6ghz-1.25v, AMD 295×2, 32GB 1866CL10 RAM, 850Evo 500GB SSD
Laptop: M6600 – 2720QM, AMD HD6970M, 32GB 1600CL9 RAM, Arc100 480GB SSD

Also, when does it freeze/crash, actually which does it do, it either freezes your system, or it crashes it,

Are you in WvW/PvP/PvE, world events etc etc etc, what settings are you running/ system specs.

Hi Sirsquishy I did a dxdiag on here a few months back, Anet said to do gw2 repair which I did. All gpu drivers up to date and it seems random when client freezes.

Hi Ok I Did It, it varies on how it decides to crash lol. Sometimes I dc completely and an error report thing comes up, done that one about 10 times. Sometimes the environment sound gets stuck and I cannot exit the game I have to ctrl alt del and restart pc as task manager cannot close it either. Or I get epic lag, game freezes and have to restart. All of these happen anywhere. I choose ‘auto detect’ on graphics option in game although I tend to put on ‘best performance’ in wvw and events.
GPU is GTX650, i5 processor quad core, 8 GB ram.

We still need that file though. Cause searching for it is not an option.

Also your error reports would help.

ok I reinstalled windows, updated drivers, reinstalled gw2. Played wvw for about an hour. Then dc’d and error report. Really would appreciate someone from Arenanet to help me out here.

When you crashed, and the error report box popped up, under the more details tab, what was the exact error that its telling you that you are getting.
