Guild Wars 2

My game keeps on crashing on the character screen. I’m using a brand new gaming PC that I got yesterday so there’s no AV or any of those programs that might be crashing it. I get a quick peek at my characters for less than a second and then it closes and comes up with “Guild Wars 2 game client has stopped working”

GW2 is added to my trusted Firewall programs
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times
I’ve run as administrator
I’ve updated all my drivers
I’ve done the -repair option
Yes, I meet the required specs for GW2
I have Windows 8.1

Also, 8/10 times the -repair also crashes.

Honestly, I have no idea what to do anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I updated my post with the details from the event viewer.

Ok. Looks like you might try re-downloading and installing DirectX 9. Looks like a ntdll.dll error.

You can Google ntdll.dll errors, if you so desire.

If I’m honest I don’t think my computer even HAS DirectX installed. I’ll go and do that though. Seeing as it’s Windows 8 I could be wrong.
