Guild Wars 2

Game was nearing done downloading well past the playable section so i began playing … i.e. created a character and looked around beginner area. After about 20 minutes the game window closed out and thus the end of my GW2 experience. The Gw2 icon is in tool tray but clicking it does nothing only a force quit will close it. Rerunning merely reopens the icon with out game window. I have restarted the machine with same result … icon pops up and nothing else.

I am experiencing something similar. Unable to download the recent patch. The client is open without a window and only a force quit will close it.

Same issue. Repairing (/applications/guild\ wars\ 2.app/contents/MacOS/cider —use-dos-cwd C:Gw2 -- C:\\GW2\\GW2.exe –repair) does not work, it used to solve this problem for me.
