I’ve run the Game Advisor and no problems are detected. This happened after my client downloaded the latest update.

Rather frustrating to be honest. Can you all fix it?

Oh and running with -repair only loads up the same kitten Downloading 0KB screen so it is also fail.

Same for me today I am stuck on downloading screen, I cannot even close it. I have to go into task manager and force GW2 application to close.

I have the same problem. Have not played the game for a month, when I try to do it today, My download gets stuck at 0%. At 55,67 MB the download speed slowly dies and the game crashes. Tried repairing, resetting the router, nothing helps. This is really annoying.

same issue.

on 2 different pc’s! One is a beast, other is a iMac 2011 booting in Win. Both tests are fine.

Tried all the -repair, -timeout, etc etc.
i tried deleting temp stuff, tried renaming the big .dat file to see if its gonna start downloading it again.

nothing.

so now… I don’t know. I’ve been googling for ages.. its funny because i didn’t change anything with the machine between now and last time i played.

help?

I also cannot remove this game from my system! come on ArenaNet, WTF has happened.

Same problem nothing i do seems to fix it, cant even reinstall.

Has a solution to this issue ever been fixed, I am experiencing it now.

You can try changing the language in the top right corner to French or German (not Spanish), once it finishes downloading, you can switch it back.
